Executive Team

Rhonda Bentz
Executive Director
Rhonda, a proud country girl of Eastern Colorado, moved to Windsor in 1997 with her two daughters, who are now thriving adults. She fully embraces her passions for homesteading, thrifting, and creating beautiful country-chic decor, all while cherishing relaxing weekends with her daughters. However, her greatest dedication lies with Wee Love Preschool, where she has invested years of hard work and love.
Her journey in early childhood education began in junior high school, ignited by her time helping with Sunday school at her hometown church. Since then, she has amassed over 40 years of valuable experience in various childcare settings, including leading roles at several preschools. Rhonda joined the Wee Love team in 2018 and was promoted to Executive Director in 2023, where she now expertly manages the daily operations of the preschool. Her leadership focuses on enhancing her team's effectiveness and elevating the students' classroom experience with a strong emphasis on social-emotional learning.
Miss Rhonda's ambition is to instill kindness in her students. While academic skills and social play will develop as children grow, she firmly believes that teaching kindness from a young age is crucial for creating a better world.
Over the years, her daughters have often remarked that she should compile the amazing quotes from her students into a book. One memorable favorite that resonates with her extended family is, "Miss Rhonda, you got fockets today? I don't have fockets today; my mommy got my fockets today." These delightful moments remind her of the joy her students bring, as they become an integral part of her extended family.

Colette Nunnery
Lead Teacher
Classroom 9
Colette has lived throughout Northern Colorado since she was born, growing up in Frederick before moving to Keenesburg four years ago. Her family loves the charm of small-town living and the close-knit community.
Colette is a devoted mom to two daughters, Paisley, five, and Haven, two, and is excited to welcome another baby girl in July. She has been happily married to her husband, Chad, for nearly three years. Their home, affectionately known as the "Nunnery Zoo," is lively with three dogs—Remi, Sage, and Oak—a cat named Mikey, a turtle called Chuck, chickens, and fish!
When it comes to her hobbies, Colette is all about making the most of family time. She enjoys camping, boating, hunting, crafting, decorating, planning, and, most importantly, creating beautiful memories with her loved ones.
Colette’s journey in early childhood education began at the age of 16, and she couldn’t be happier! As a teacher, she has some wonderful goals for her classroom. She always strives to create: 1. A fun and engaging environment for the children, 2. A space where learning meets the diverse needs of all kids, and 3. A loving atmosphere filled with kindness. She believes that having these values in place makes every day more enjoyable and helps her students thrive. Reflecting on her own school days, Colette fondly remembers her fifth-grade teacher, Ms. Herring. Ms. Herring was a true champion for her, especially during tough times, particularly with reading. She perfectly embodied the three values that Colette aims to bring to her own classroom. There was never a dull moment in Ms. Herring’s class, even on Colette’s hardest days—all thanks to Ms. Herring's creativity and care!

Anna moved to Greeley right after high school to attend the University of Northern Colorado and has loved living here for 25 years. Originally from Wyoming, she enjoys the less windy weather in Colorado. She lives with her husband and three daughters, spending her time driving them to gymnastics, karate, and swimming.

In her free time, Anna likes reading, writing stories, crocheting, gardening, and baking. Two of her daughters attended Wee Love Preschool, where she volunteered before officially joining the staff when her youngest started kindergarten. This is her third year in early childhood education, and she’s gained a lot of valuable experience.

Anna aims to create a fun and welcoming classroom atmosphere where students feel accepted and excited to learn. One of her favorite memories is seeing one of her students at her children's school during pickup, where the student would excitedly run up to her, reminding her of the importance of a teacher's role in a preschooler's life.
